COMMERCIAL ROOFING PROJECTS

Manufacturing Facility (Igloo)

This manufacturing facility posed unique design problems. The building was on a fault line, and parts of the building had sunk 6" to 8" in 15 years, resulting in chronic leaks.
Approximately 42,000 square feet of roof deck had to be replaced. Expansion joints that allowed for another 6" to 8" of movement were installed as well as new roof drains in the "new" low areas of the roof.

Warehouse (Hi-Lo Distribution)

This warehouse was a large metal building with low collateral load capacity. A traditional roofing membrane was not an option, so a liquid-applied elastomeric roof system was the solution.

Manufacturing Facility (Tracor-Aerospace)
The manufacturing facility presented unique conditions. The building has railroad tracks on the roof for testing purposes.
The design required accommodating the railroad. It also required allowing the test equipment to function on the track during the project.
